Sal, I don't agree with you on this one. I think a qualified independent could pull it off this time. People are fed up, the candidates are all weak, and I don't think money will buy this election. Look at the last council upset, where people did not vote along party lines, there were enough independent voters to get rid of the Acropolis crowd,elected this new inept bunch and are still looking for a good leader.

ReplyNot a comment on this article, but I just got a chance to see the May 7 council meeting on TV. Fozman, Lydecker and Ducey were so absurd in the comments regarding the clerks job, they should be embarrassed. Before we put Moore up on a white horse,the story is a back room deal for his wifes' job in exchange for his vote on the issue, with the Mayor. I must say, without Acropolis baggage and some rumors of personal financial problems,Sangiovanni is the most impressive of the lot, unless a qualified independent runs. Ducey is a joke, should not even be considered.

After the new inept clowns are looked at, the old Republican council that was voted out is looking better. Lydecker and Fozman open their mouths and make complete fools of themselves. Ducey is the most unipressive lawyer I have ever seen. I would not want him to handle a parking ticket for me. Moore seems like a down to earth guy who is trying hard,but is in bad company.
