Wall Stadium To Crown Champions Tonight
Finale for the regular racing season at the Route 34 track
Wall Stadium will crown regular season champions in all classes when it hosts the “Battle of the High Banks,’’ tonight at the Route 34 racetrack. It’s the regular season finale and double points will be awarded in all divisions, with each class crowning a champion, track officials said. Numerous past champion drivers -- Jerry Cranmer, Steve Springsteel, Jack Buck, Dave Michel, Glenn Osborne, J R Helberg, Chip Graves, Joe Kafka, and Robert Schlechtweg --also will race, meet with fans and sign autographs, track officials said. Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stock, Factory Stock, 4-cylinder and Legend cars will all race tonight.
