Council meets tonight at 8 p.m.
The borough will take over running the lockers and parking lot at the Sea Watch after the previous vendor opted out this season. Manasquan Council will vote on the fees at its meeting tonight. Here's more of what the council will decide tonight at its meeting, 8 p.m. in Borough Hall. Lockers vary in size and price to use for the season: 21X31 size is a $170 permit; 21x64 are 22X78 sizes are $325; 35X87 is $410. Contract to repair to existing buildings, plus another $75,000 to oversee construction
Manasquan is advancing plans to repair existing beachfront buildings damaged in Hurricane Sandy for a cost estimated at $306,000. Two Republicans will take seats
Two faces will join the Manasquan Borough Council, as officials swear in Mike Sinneck and Greg Olivera to their terms on Monday. The reorganization meeting is 7 p.m. Jan. 7 in borough hall. Republicans Sinneck and Olivera defeated Democrats Peter Pappas and Michelle Batista in November's election. The pair fill the seats of outgoing Republican Councilwomen Patricia Connolly and Marilyn Jacobson. The annual reorganization meeting will see annual appointments to Manasquan governing bodies and committees, as well as appoint the professionals for the coming year.
