Gridiron Classic to be Shown Tonight

MSG Varsity to broadcast game at 7 p.m.

Did you miss seeing the Monmouth County squad beat their opponents from Ocean County in the annual US Army All Shore Gridiron Classic? If you did or you just want to see it again the game will be shown tonight on MSG Varsity (Channel 14 on Cablevision) starting at 7 p.m.  The Monmouth County team emerged victorious but it was a good game by players from all over the Shore Conference as they end their high school careers and head off to college.

Gridiron Classic Returns for Another Exciting Year

Shore's best football players square off in Holmdel tonight

There is still two months until the high school football season kicks off but tonight the top players from the Class of 2012 will have one last chance to represent their school in an annual rite of summer.  The 35th Annual US Army All Shore Gridiron Classic will be held at Holmdel High School, pitting the best players from Monmouth County against their guests from Ocean County.  The rosters for both teams can be found on Allshoremedia.net. Manalapan Head Coach Ed Guerri will be at the helm of the home town squad while Barnegat's Rob Davis will lead the Ocean County team.  For live updates from the game follow us on Twitter.

Locals Ready to Shine in North-South Gridiron Classic

Summer football tradition continues Monday

Before they start their college careers some of the top gridiron stars in the state will head to Kean University for the annual New Jersey North-South All-Star Football Classic.  With the 7 p.m. kickoff the Shore Conference figures to be well represented according to a story on nj.com. After plowing his way through opposing defenses John Sleczkowski from Manalapan will have the chance to shine on another level against bigger competition on Monday.  Red Bank receiver Tyheem Crawford is set to represent the Bucs as they launch an air attack they hope will be good enough to beat their northern counterparts.  The south squad's offensive line has a very strong Shore Conference presence in this year's game.
