Belmar Man Indicted on Lewdness with Children, Criminal Sexual Contact Charges
Man remains in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody after Sept. 22 arrest
A Belmar man faces county charges after police said he exposed himself to minors and committed criminal sexual contact. One of the alleged victims was 3 years old, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office. A grand jury out of Monmouth County on Nov. 30 indicted Antelmo Evans-Rosales of Belmar on three counts stemming from alleged incidents Sept. 21: criminal sexual contact, aggravated criminal sexual contact and lewdness. A charge of aggravated criminal sexual contact, a third-degree crime, stems from an incident with an individual incapable of consenting, according to the indictment.
