Two Charged with Drunken Driving in Manasquan

Locals stopped on Highway 71 earlier this month

Manasquan police arrested two alleged drunken drivers earlier this month, authorities said.  Two locals were charged with DWI after being stopped on Highway 71 in separate incidents, according to a release from the Manasquan Police Department.  Carole Schmidt, 45, of Howell, was arrested Sept. 1 after being stopped on the state highway. Sgt. Nicholas Tumminelli made the arrest, the release says.  Jilly Madonna, 47, of Spring Lake Heights, was arrested ten days later on Sept. 11, on the same road and charged with driving while intoxicated. Patrolman Thomas Morton made the arrest.  Both arrests were the first two reported drunken driving incidents in the borough so far this month, according to police records.

Two Recent DWI Arrests in Belmar

Neptune City, Basking Ridge residents charged last month

Belmar police last month made two arrests for alleged drunken driving, authorities said.  During the second-half of August, police charged a Basking Ridge man and a Neptune City resident with DWI in separate incidents, according to a release from Belmar police.  Gregory Bock, 23, of Basking Ridge, was arrested Aug. 15 at 13th Avenue and E Street, the release says. Officer Michael Yee made the arrest.  Joseph Byrne, 32, of Neptune City, was arrested Aug. 23 at 18th and Surf Avenues, the release says. Special Officer Harrison Theibault made the arrest.  Both individuals were charged with DWI, the release says.

Two DWI Arrests in Manasquan

Borough resident, Pennsylvania man stopped over weekend

Manasquan police arrested two individuals over the weekend on drunken driving charges, authorities said.  Both stops — one of a Manasquan resident, the other a Pennsylvania man — took place Sunday on East Main Street, according to a release from borough police.  Jake Watson, 24, of Henryville, Pa., was arrested Sept. 2 on East Main Street and charged with DWI. Special Officer Breton Brewer made the arrest.  Robert Wright, 33, of Minerva Avenue, also was arrested Sept. 2 on East Main Street and charged with DWI. Patrolman Michael Tischio made the arrest.

Manasquan Police Make Five DWI Arrests

Alleged drunken drivers charged last week in the borough

Manasquan police last week arrested five individuals on charges of driving while intoxicated, authorities said.  One of the alleged drunken drivers was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to a release from the Manasquan Police Department.  The following individuals were arrested and charged by police between Aug. 12 and Aug. 19:

Manasquan Police Nab Three Drunken Drivers

Three out-of-towners arrested over the weekend

Manasquan police last week made three arrests for alleged drunken driving, authorities said.  Three out-of-towners over the weekend were stopped by police and subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, according to a department release.  The following individuals, according to the release, were arrested and charged by the Manasquan Police Department:  -- Ashley Pasqualone, 27, of Hoboken, was stopped Aug. 3 on Highway 71 and subsequently arrested and charged with DWI. Patrolman Nicholas Norcia made the arrest.  -- Carina Abreu, 23, of Old Bridge, was stopped Aug. 4 on Fourth Avenue and subsequently arrested and charged with DWI. Four Charged with DWI in Belmar Last Month

Police catch alleged drunk drivers during first half of July

Belmar police during the first half of July arrested four individuals in separate incidents on charges of driving while intoxicated, according to a department release.  Between July 2 and July 15, police stopped two residents and two out-of-towners, charging all four with DWI, the release says.  — Ryan McInerney, 25, of Matawan, was stopped July 4 at the corner of 12th Avenue and Railroad Avenue. Special Officer Matthew Richardson made the arrest.  — Jay Hansen, 26, of Belford, was stopped July 8 at the corner of 18th Avenue and Surf Avenue. Belmar Police Charge Wall Woman with DWI

18-year-old arrested late last month in the borough

A local underage woman was charged by Belmar Police with driving while intoxicated, records show. Kristianna King, 18, of Wall, was arrested June 27 after being stopped at the intersection of 17th Avenue and Newman Street, according to a release from the Belmar Police Department. Officer Erik Lieb made the arrest, the release says.
