The Manasquan Reservoir was named by Bassmaster Magazine as one of the nation's top spots for bass fishing, NorthJersey.com reported. The Howell reservoir was ranked 96th among the country's 100 best lakes for bass fishing. Lake Hopatcong, ranked 68th, was the only other New Jersey spot to make the list. A panel of writers, editors, professional anglers and fishing industry veterans made the final decisions on a list that took months to compile, the news site reported.
