PLEASE, PLEASE...if you donate, make sure it is to a reputable charity. Although so much aid wasRead More given to Sandy, Katrina, etc victems...there is always that element that is out to make a quick buck for their pockets. My daughter lives inOKC-thankfully, her family is safe. Many churches in OKC are giving aid. Check FB OKLAHOMA AID . Make sure that any donations get where they will really help those in such dire need. It's just so unfathomable to me that a disaster of this magnitude follows so close on the heels of SANDY.

Diane you stated what many people with the right mindset needs to hear. We are housing Sandy victimsRead More for the last 7 months, and that has fallen on deaf ears. My parents lost their home to a major fire. Loss is very close to home. But, people who want to help need to think through how to do so in a responsible way. Sending money without thinking how and where it goes is not responsible. It might make people feel good, but is that really the goal of giving?
