Red Bank Catholic High School
732-747-1211
Red Bank Catholic high school is located in downtown Red Bank next to St. James Elementary and its namesake parish. Established in 1927, RBC, as it's known, attracts students from dozens of school districts around the county and beyond with a challenging curriculum, extensive extra-curricular activities list and a large sports program. It is part of the Diocese of Trenton school district. Athletes at RBC are known as "Caseys," named after Monsignor Joseph Casey, a retired Read Admiral in the U.S. Navy who used his naval pension to hire coaches and purchased uniforms for the school's athletes. Casey is also credited with helping organize the school's band and orchestra, according to the school. RBC's school colors are green and gold and its athletes compete in the Shore Conference, a high school athletic conference that features both public and private schools in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The school has gone through several renovations in the past decade and recently completed construction on a new student center. The state-of-the-art student center houses classrooms and a gym.
