The Passionate Progressive at The Shore.

Jersey Strong Keep your Money Local and Tell the Big Businesses and the forget me government that you will not support anyone who is in it for the money only.

When this time of the year rolls around you here many saying that summer is going to be like the best and everyone is going to be so busy with all the tourists that the locals will have to wait till September to go back to their favored hangouts.

Well after Super Storm Sandy last year many local government officials are worried that people will not return to the beaches. As a passionate progressive I see it as a great time to show the tourists that we do care about our businesses and neighbours not just the money we make from the ocean and beaches.

We can do this by sharing with them the stories of Super Storm Sandy, like the story of many small business owners still waiting for help to rebuild or the home owners who lost everything and their insurance company still has not paid, or the towns who FEMA and our elected state and federal officials have forgotten.

First lets show people we care by helping our neighbours by bring good livable wage jobs and a better economy to The Jersey Shore. Let us remember to think before we buy is this store helping its neighbours and adding to the quility of life or are just here to make money off your hard work and sweet.
