Local Charity Needs Residents' Help

Move for Hunger seeks votes in hopes of winning Chase award

Local charitable organization Move For Hunger has been nominated for a Chase American Giving Award.

The Neptune-based non-profit stands to receive a donation ranging from $125,000 to $1,000,000 should they be selected.

Move For Hunger is seeking the aid of local residents to win the contest, which will help them with their mission of providing donations to area food banks.

“Move For Hunger is constantly striving to strengthen our community by actively engaging the transportation industry to support local food banks. Receiving even $125,000 would be an unbelievable opportunity to grow our network of movers and spread awareness of the ever-growing hunger problem in communities across the country” said Adam Lowy Executive Director of Move For Hunger.

Residents can help Mover For Hunger by simply “Liking” the Chase Community Giving program on Facebook. Click the American Giving Awards tab, and cast your vote to determine the finalists.
