YMCA Aquarockets Swim Team Adds New Tryout Date on Sept. 18

The Community YMCA Aquarockets swim team is holding tryouts for new swimmers for the 2013-2014 short course season.  This tryout will be for the team swimming out of the newly winterized pool located at Camp Zehnder in Wall.  

This tryout will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, 5 p.m. at Camp Zehnder, 3911 Herbertsville Road, Wall.  There will be a $10 registration fee collected at the time of tryouts.  Please bring a bathing cap, towel, goggles, water bottle, healthy snack, and preferably wear a racing suit.

Official times from an electronic timing system may be accepted in lieu of tryouts if the swimmer cannot be present.

This tryout will be for new swimmers from the Wall vicinity.  Ages 12 and under will swim locally in Wall, while senior and national level swimmers will travel between the Wall and Red Bank. 

The Y’s competitive swim program has produced over 100 All American swimmers, 4 National Champions and an Olympic Bronze medalist.
