Belmar continues to lay boardwalk decking as part of the massive $6.59 million rebuilding of its destroyed boardwalk.

Manasquan has lain the frames for its rebuilt beach headquarters.

April 30: Belmar established a deadline for the boardwalk rebuilding contract. If Epic Construction has the boardwalk completed by April 30, the company receives a bonus, and if not, it will start accruing daily fines.

May 4: The Osprey in Manasquan plans to reopen. D'Jais in Belmar to hold a summer kick-off party.

May 22: Manasquan plans to begin to reopen its beach and boardwalk with a special event.

May 23: Belmar plans to officially reopen its beach and boardwalk with a ribbon cutting.

Memorial Day Weekend: Bradley Beach and Belmar are among the towns planning to have their boardwalks open for Memorial Day.

June 1: Sea Girt plans to have its boardwalk open, from Beacon to New York.
