Due to the threat of inclement weather, the organizers of the New Jersey state sand castle contest in Belmar has been moved from Wednesday, July 16 to Wednesday, July 30.
The contest will still begin at 8 a.m. and run until 12 noon.
The 28th Annual New Jersey Sandcastle Contest is scheduled to be held at the 18th Avenue beach, contest organizers announced last week.
