Manasquan Fourth of July Festivities Friday

Happy Independence Day! Manasquan will celebrate this year with its annual kids' decorated bike contest, parade, a concert and fireworks Friday.

The annual Fourth of July kids’ bike contest is Friday at the Manasquan-Brielle Little League Field on Second Avenue. Once you deck out your bicycle, head to the field at 5:15 p.m. for entry, with judging at 5:45 p.m.

Children ages 4 to 12 will compete in four age groups. The participants do not have to be Manasquan residents.

First-, second- and third-place winners in each age group will get “Squan money” that can be spent at participating stores in the borough.
