Deadline for Belmar's 'Buy a Board' Is April 30
Campaign solicited donations for rebuilding boardwalk
The last call on Belmar's boardwalk 'Buy a Board' campaign is April 30.
The campaign has had donors from all over the world contributing varying amounts, which would fund the rebuilding of Belmar's boardwalk.
However, the borough has set a deadline on when the last "Big Kahunas" and other donors can contribute, in order to get their name listed in time on the boardwalk project as givers. The last date, Mayor Matt Doherty said, will be April 30.

Donations range from $25 to more than $5,000.
The total amount raised is more than $550,000. Donations can be made online at the borough's website, here.
