Testicle-Eating Fish Found In Passaic County Lake

A fish with an apparent appetite for testicles has been found in a pond in Passaic.

The Pacu, a cousin of the piranha that can mistake genitals for tree nuts, was caught Saturday by a fisherman in the city’s Third Ward park.

The fish has been blamed for the deaths of two New Guinea men, who reportedly died from blood loss after they were attacked by the fish.

The Pacu is a native of the Amazon in South America, and officials said they believe someone likely dumped it in the pond.
