St. Rose Grammar School Gets A Fresh Coat Of Paint

School among those damaged by Superstorm Sandy on the St. Rose Parish campus.

Jersey Cares, a nonprofit charitable organization, fanned out across the state over two days to mark the one year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy with service projects in five counties, including several projects at the St. Rose Parish campus, which during the storm sustained $6 million in damage to its various buildings.

St. Rose Grammar school was among the buildings damaged in the storms. Jersey Cares volunteers on Saturday, Oct. 26, repainted the macadam lot outside lot of the grammar school, which the more than 200 children use as a playground each day.
