POLL: Manasquan Drug Testing Changes - What Should The School District Do?

After listening to parents and students, the Manasquan Board of Education has decided to table two resolutions that would have made changes to the school district’s random drug testing program, according to The Coast Star.

The board voted 7-1 last week to table the two resolutions that were on the agenda for a first reading; Jack Campbell was the sole no vote, according to The Coast Star.

The program requires students who test positive to be banned from extracurricular activities for 15 days. They are also required to undergo four unannounced tests.
