Ocean County's Top Superintendent From 2012 Is Now Manasquan Schools Chief

Frank Kasyan, formerly the Little Egg Harbor schools superintendent who was selected as Ocean County's best in 2012, is the Manasquan district's choice for its superintendent's post.

The Board of Education approved the selection at its Tuesday meeting.

Kasyan has served as the Ocean County representative on several state committees: the Legislative, Special Education and Superintendent Executive committees, according to the SandPaper.

When he received the award in 2012, Kasyan pointed out the recent accomplishments and future goals in the district. “Our transportation system has been rated in the top five in the state. And the state sent two groups from Washington to come visit our preschool. We rank as the highest-achieving B Factor Group in the state," he said, according to the SandPaper.

“So when you ask the question ‘How do you become Superintendent of the Year in Ocean County,’ it’s not me; it’s all the great things that are happening in the district through the wonderful people we have here – from the teachers to the custodians, the transportation director, business administrator and our efficient administrative secretary, Madge Rosenberg,” he said, according to the SandPaper.
