Moms Rock Run Set for Saturday

Manasquan Elementary PTO event expected to close some borough streets

The inaugural Moms Rock Run is slated to kickoff Saturday, May 12, at the Manasquan Elks Lodge, 17 Stockton Lake Boulevard.

The event is sponsored by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), which is hoping to raise money for their cause while also giving away $10,000 in raffle prizes to participants and $250 to any school's PTO or PTA that brings the most runners.

The one-mile "fun run" is scheduled to start at 9 a.m., while the 5K race is set for 10 a.m. Both runs will begin just outside the Elks Lodge.
