School Board Candidates Announced

Six candidates, four seats in November school board election

Five individuals will square-off for three full terms on the Manasquan Board of Education in November, records show. 

Former Manasquan Mayor John L. Winterstella will also run unopposed for a one-year unexpired term. 

Two board seats are now wide open after Trish Brown and Jim Smith late last month.

Board Member Thomas B. Bauer is the only incumbent in the mix of five candidates vying for the three, three-year terms. 

Bauer is joined by Kenneth Clayton, Thomas Pellegrino, Michael L. Shelton and Patricia Walsh.

Walsh is a former four-term board member that served as president for six years.
