Cowerks, the Asbury Park based coworking community will be having another Jersey Shore Tech Meetup on June 20, this time focusing on user experience.
When people talk about the "user experience" of a particular product or service, they're typically talking about the way it looks or how they feel when they interact with it – and most times it's about how unpleasant that experience is. In practice, User Experience (UX) is more than the visible presentation of a thing, though. UX is a strategic approach to finding and framing solutions to the right problems.
In this chat, you'll talk about:
- UX vs. UI Design
- Activities UX professionals use to get to great ideas
- Considerations for working with UX professional
- What to look for when hiring a professional
And look at a couple practical applications:
- Rapid Usability Assessment (RUA)
- Prototyping for feedback
