Volunteers Needed for Fisherman's Cove Cleanup

Manasquan officials asking for college students, adults and other able-bodied citizens

Manasquan is looking for volunteers to help clean up Fisherman's Cove on Friday, officials said.

Any college students home for the holidays or adults with a "strong desire" for physical activity should meet 10 a.m. at Mallard Park, according to a borough release.

"The Fisherman’s Cove and county park located along Third Avenue is in desperate need of a clean up after the ravages of Hurricane Sandy," the release says.
