Road Markings Irk Spring Lake

Spray paint left on borough streets by organizations hosting races and walks has frustrated the borough

Road markings put down by organizations hosting races, walks or other events in the borough have drawn the ire of the Spring Lake Mayor and Council.

While considering two event applications from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at their Jan. 25 meeting, borough officials expressed frustration with spray painted markings used by the organization to direct event participants.

The National MS Society wants its annual MS Bike Tour to pass through the borough on May 21 and its MS Walk/Run on April 10.
