Monmouth County's 'Vote by Mail' Applications Due

Vote By Mail Ballots for the Special August 13 Primary for US Senate that are sent through the mail need to arrive in the county clerk's office by Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Monmouth County officials are reminding residents that all applications for Vote By Mail Ballots for the Special August 13 Primary for US Senate that are sent through the mail need to arrive in the county clerk's office by Tuesday, Aug. 6. 

After that date, registered voters in Monmouth County must apply in person at the County Clerk's Election Office to obtain a Mail-In Ballot for the special Primary Election. The deadline for obtaining a Mail-In Ballot in person is 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12. After that time, voters must obtain a court order from a Superior Court judge allowing them to apply for a Mail-In Ballot. 

A voter may walk into the Monmouth County Clerk of Elections office at 300 Halls Mill Road, Freehold, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
