Manasquan To Add Mobile Concessions To Beachfront

Borough seeking applications through April 5

With much of its oceanfront buildings destroyed in Hurricane Sandy, Manasquan will solicit mobile concessions to operate in the coming summer.

The Borough is seeking interested mobile concessionaires for the season to operate from Memorial to Labor Day, at locations such as where the Sea Watch restaurant stood.

Manasquan Administrator Joe DeIorio will take applications through April 5.

"The Borough of Manasquan is a thriving community with an active beach tourism destination.  Currently the beach restoration from the effects of Superstorm Sandy is underway with a completion date of May 1st.  As a result of the storm new opportunities await for interested food concession entrepreneurs at the north end of Manasquan Beach," announced the borough in its search for the concessionaires.

The borough is not soliciting bids but is requesting interested concessionaires to submit their interest to the borough along with information about their business, such as the concession truck and food provided. The borough is also looking for vendor input.
