Donation Items Needed in Belmar
Borough asking for batteries, paper towels, firewood, gatorade and more
As of Thursday, Nov. 8, Belmar officials are asking for the following donation items for the Sandy relief effort.
- Work Gloves & Latex Gloves
- Flashlights
- Batteries
- Bleach and other Cleaning Products
- Rakes
- Contractor Bags
- Packing Tape
- Markers (Sharpie-type)
- Paper Towels
- Rags
- Sponges
- Mops & Buckets
- Firewood
- Shelf Milk
- Storage Bins
- Cereal
- Gatorade
Donations should be delivered to the Hurricane Relief Distribution Center at the Belmar Arts Council Building, 608 River Road (at Seventh Avenue), Belmar. Relief aid is being deployed door-to-door.
