Borough Clerk Gets 3-year Appointment

Municipal Clerk Barbara Ilaria will be in Borough Hall for another three years following a unanimous vote of the Borough Council Monday.

Ilaria, who last year made $57,099, will continue to be Manasquan's Borough Clerk for the next three years after the council on Monday voted to extend her tenure for another term. The vote was 5-0. Two members were absent.

Ilaria also will continue as the municipal registrar, a non-paying duty with an appointment that runs concurrently with that of her municipal clerk title, according to a separate, also unanimous, vote.
