Belmar Offering Free Pet Grooming Saturday

Red Cross serving hot meals at Borough Hall

Free mobile pet grooming in Pyanoe Plaza, Sunday, Nov. 11 beginning at 11 a.m. for cats and dogs.

Dunkin Donuts is serving coffee at 601 Main Street today while supplies last.

The American Red Cross is serving hot meals at 601 Main Street (use the Sixth Avenue entrance).

Belmar Elementary School will be open today for breakfast and lunch and activities for children between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Children must be picked up promptly at 1 p.m.

An insurance/FEMA workshop will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the municipal court room. Call to register at: 732-681-3700.

Experts will be on hand to give attendees an overview of the process and answer their questions. 

The borough continues to distribute aid, free blankets, food and firewood. If you cannot go to Borough Hall, call them to arrange a delivery.

On Thursday the Borough engaged with a nationally renowned debris and waste removal company to accelerate our efforts.  This company was responsible for removing 250 million cubic yards of debris from Mississippi in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
