Man Decapitated in Jump off Ocean Grove Pier
Prosecutor calls incident an "apparent suicide"
A man is dead after jumping off the Ocean Grove Fishing Pier with a rope around his neck Monday evening, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.
An unidentified male victim was decapitated in the apparent suicide, according to First Assistant Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni.
The incident is still being investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and medical examiners.
