Wall Man Indicted for Manasquan Arson

Grand jury charges East Hurley Pond Road man with third-degree crime

A Wall man faces third-degree arson charges in Superior Court stemming from an alleged incident in Manasquan earlier this year, records show. 

Austin Vidich, 22, of East Hurley Pond Road, indicted by a Superior Court grand jury Wednesday, is charged with purposely starting a fire in the 100 block of Union Avenue, the indictment says. 

The incident occurred Feb. 28, the indictment says.

Vidich, the indictment says, but the structure belonging to a person identified only as "D.W." in danger of damage or destruction. 

The indictment was signed by county Prosecutor Peter E. Warshaw Jr.
