Wall Teacher, Charged With Having Sex with Student, Still Listed With District

Kalee Warnick, of the Deer Run section of Wall, is currently listed on the Wall Township Schools website as a teacher in the English Department.

The district did not confirm her status at this time.

According to police documents, Warnick allegedly had an improper relationship with a 15 year old male student that included sexual contact. The warrant does not go into further detail about the nature of the incident.

The complaint, out of Wall Township, charges Warnick with aggravated criminal sexual contact, a third degree crime, and one count of having a sexual relationship with a minor she had responsibility of the care of, which is a second degree crime.

The incident was reported to Wall Police on July 14, according to the court documents. 

Warnick works as an English teacher for the high school, and at the May school board meeting she was one of four teachers approved for summer in-home instruction for a student at a rate of $52 an hour for 10 hours.

Warnick was charged July 30 and $50,000 bail was set. The next court appearance is scheduled for 8 a.m. Aug. 6.
