Three area residents were arrested and charged in Wall with drunken driving over the weekend, police said.
Christine Marks, 54, of Brick, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 9:16 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop at Route 35 and New Bedford Road. Marks was released pending a court date, Sgt. Heath Bono said.
Lenore Canta, 43, of Brielle, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 1:18 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stoop on Route 35 and Church Street, Bono said. Canta was released pending a court date, Bono said.

Mark Shatkus, 28, of Wall, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 1:20 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop Bailey’s Corner Road and Allaire Road. Shatkus’ car was impounded. He was released with a court date, Bono said.
