Three Charged with Simple Assault in Belmar

Belmar Police last month arrested three locals in separate and charged each with simple assault, records show.

Two men from Wall and Howell and a woman from Spring Lake were arrested late June in the borough, according to a release from Belmar Police.

-- Jacquelyn Kaufmann, 23, of Spring Lake, was arrested June 19 in the 600 block of Main Street and charged with simple assault. Sgt. Thomas Cox made the arrest. 

-- Sean Connolly, 33, of Wall, was arrested June 21 in the 100 block of 12th Avenue and charged with simple assault. Officer Michael Campbell made the arrest. 

-- Justin Swayze, 24, of Howell, was arrested June 23 in the 300 block of 18th Avenue and charged with simple assault. Special Officer Shawn Wilson made the arrest.
