Spring Lake Heights Police Respond to Assaults

January police blotter released

Police have released the following police blotter for Spring Lake Heights in January:

On January 3 at 8 p.m. Emily Bowker 20, of Spring Lake Heights was arrested for possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances following an investigation by Ptl. Kenneth Hager. 

On January 5 at 4:45 p.m. Det. Michael Matunas took a report of a stolen wallet from a business in the 800 block of Hwy 71. 

On January 8 at 10 a.m. Ptl. Robert Shafer took a report of Criminal Mischief from a business in the 2400 block of Hwy 71. 

On January 11 at 11:45 p.m. Spring Lake Heights Police responded to a residence in the 900 block of Keith Ave for a reported fight in progress.  Following the on-scene investigation David G. Smith II 50, of Spring Lake Heights and Timothy J. Harden 35, of Belmar were charged with Assault by Ptl. Kenneth Hager.

On January 13 at 7:50 p.m. Spring Lake Heights Police responded to the 000 block of Rosewood Drive for a reported Assault.  Following the on-scene investigation David M. Birchall 45, of Spring Lake Heights was arrested and charged with Assault.  Ptl. Raymond Kwiatkowski made the arrest.

On January 17 at 10:50 a.m. Noemi R. Reines 28, of Middletown was found to be in possession of Controlled Dangerous Substances and Drug Paraphernalia.   Sgt. Andrew O’Neill discovered the items while searching personal belongings during a Municipal Court security detail.

On January 20 at 3:05 p.m. Spring Lake Heights Police responded to Hwy 71 and Warren Ave for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident.  Following the on-scene investigation Christopher P. Hughes 39, of Belmar was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated by Ptl. Raymond Kwiatkowski.

On January 24 at 3 a.m. Spring Lake Heights Police were summoned to Jersey Shore University Hospital regarding an Assault that occurred in Spring Lake Heights.  Ptl. Kenneth Hager determined that an Assault had occurred in the 500 block of 6th Ave.  The victim – a 25 year old male, of Toms River did not call the police and was driven by a witness to the hospital.  Ptl. Hager charged Christine Gaudious 40, of Wall , Courtney Gaudious 23, of Spring Lake Heights and Sylvester Tillman 28, of Spring Lake Heights with Assault.

On January 25, Det. Michael Matunas took a report of Identity Theft and Credit Card Fraud from a resident in the 500 block of Monmouth Ave.

On January 30, at 11:35 a.m. Francisco J. Toscano-Dominguez was arrested for possession of a Fraudulent Drivers License following a motor vehicle stop in the 1100 block of Hwy 71.  Sgt. Andrew O’Neill made the arrest.
