Luke D. Lemme, 21, of Spring Lake Heights faces several charges following a crash at the Lakehurst Circle early Sunday Morning.
Sgt. Ron Heinzman of the Lakehurst Police Department reported that Lemme was driving a 2006 Saturn Ion at 1:42 a.m. when he was involved in the accident. Following an investigation by Officer Joseph DePasquale it was determined that Lemme was driving while intoxicated as a result of the crash.
Lemme was reportedly entering the circle from Route 37 at a "high rate of speed," when he crashed and caused "extensive damage," to his vehicle according to Sgt. Heinzman.

Following the accident Lemme was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving an uninsured vehicle and failure to maintain lane.
He was released on summonses pending Municipal Court according to Heinzman.
