Police Charge Neptune City Boy with Theft

Squan PD investigating three more thefts reported last week

Manasquan police last week arrested a 15-year-old Neptune City boy on theft and criminal mischief charges, authorities said. 

Investigators are also looking into three other thefts reported across the borough last week, according to a release from the Manasquan Police Department. 

The boy was arrested Oct. 13 on East Main Street, the release says. Patrolman Nicholas Norcia made the arrest. 

Police also responded Oct. 9 to a reportedtheft of a wicker chair and planters on Second Avenue, the release says. Patrolman William Sutton investigated. 

Patrolman Michael Tischio responded to a reported theft on Main Street the same day, the release says. 

The following day, on Oct. 10, police investigated the reported theft of a propane tank from East Main Street, the release says. Patrolman Tischio investigated.
