Numerous Arrests in Wall Over Holiday Weekend

Drunken driving, minor drug possession and other charges among the list

Numerous people were arrested in neighboring Wall over the Memorial Day weekend on various charges ranging from minor drug possession to weapons charges, police said.

Wakey D. Evans Jr. of Neptune was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 33 Friday around 9:27 p.m. Evans was charged on a Monmouth County warrant and taken to Monmouth County Jail, Freehold Township. The arresting officer was Patrolman Adam Cox, Sgt. Chad Clark said.

Colin Alexander, 21, of Piscataway was arrested on weapons charges after police responded to a complain about a suspicious person at the Wall Getty gas station at Route 34 and Allenwood Road around 11:07 p.m. Friday. Alexander was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose when he was found with a set of brass knuckles by Patrolman Ian Hatch, Clark said.

Justin V. Panicker, 25, of Middletown was arrested and charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop around 1:39 a.m. Panicker was stopped by Det. Sean O’Halloran. The location of the arrest was not released.

Nicholas Decicco, 27, of Staten Island was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Ian Hatch following a traffic stop around 2:42 a.m. The location of the stop was not released.

Leila L. Dupree, 23, of Ocean Grove was arrested and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana following a traffic stop Route 35 near New Bedford Road around 10:45 p.m. Saturday by Sgt. Heath Bono, Clark said.

Edward Soto Jr., 22, of Ocean Township was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 34 near the Allenwood traffic circle by Patrolman Ian Hatch around 2:41 a.m. Sunday, Clark said.

Kimberly N. Dunne, 26, of Blackwood, and Shannon Hennegan, 19 of Clementon, were arrested and charged with possession of nine bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Route 34 and Allenwood Road around 8:42 p.m. Sunday, Clark said.

Erik R. Rankin, 30, of Secane, Pa., was arrested and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana following a suspicious vehicle check on Route 35 near Allaire Road around 11:20 p.m. Sunday by Patrolmen Michael Tozer and Evan Baubles, Clark said.

Joseph M. Nulty, 22, of Freehold, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated around 1:58 a.m. Monday in the area of the Collingwood traffic circle by Patrolman Emmett Idzahl, Clark said.

Sebastian A. Adolf, 22, of Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated  following a traffic stop on Route 138 near New Bedford Road by Patrolman Miles Shanklin around 8:11 p.m. Monday, Sgt. Joseph Wilbert said.

Michael R. Kraus, 20, of Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 138 near New Bedford Road around 10 p.m. by Patrolman Vincent Mazzaccaro, Wilbert said.
