Neptune Man Indicted, Charged With Illegally Obtaining Xanax In Belmar

A 21-year-old Neptune man was indicted last week on fraud charges in Belmar, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Jakim Stradford of Morris Avenue allegedly committed fraud by obtaining a prescription drug illegally in Belmar, according to court records.

Stradford allegedly tried to obtain Xanax by "misrepresentation, fraud, forgery" and deception, according to court records.

The indictment was handed down on March 25. No bail information was available.
