Manasquan Police Arrest Three Minors

Two females, one male charged last week in separate incidents

Manasquan police in separate incidents last week arrested three minors, including one 15-year-old Short Hills boy who was charged with assaulting a police officer, authorities said. 

In the other two incidents, a 16-year-old Brielle girl was charged with driving without a license, and a 17-year-old girl from Sea Girt was arrested on an underage possession of alcohol charge, according to a release from Manasquan Police. 

The names of all three individuals have been withheld by police.

— Male, 15, of Short Hills, was arrested July 21 on First Avenue and charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing and possession and use of fireworks. Special Officer Roger Fernandez made the arrest. 

— Female, 16, of Brielle, was arrested July 17 on Parker Avenue and charged with being an unlicensed driver. Sgt. Michael Stoia made the arrest.

— Female, 17, of Sea Girt, was arrested July 17 in Mallard Park and charged with possession of alcohol underage. Special Officer Nicholas Austin made the arrest.
