Manasquan Police Arrest Six Last Week

Department also investigating six incidents

Manasquan Police last week made six arrests, including one for alleged possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to a department release. 

None of the individuals arrested were Manasquan residents, the release says. 

The department is also investigating six incidents, including two reported thefts (an iPhone from Highway 71; lawn ornaments from East Main Street), that allegedly took place last week, the release says.

The following individuals were arrested by Manasquan Police between June 24 and July 1: 

-- Cortz Marquee McLain, 31, of Detroit, Mich., was arrested June 26 in Aberdeen and charged with contempt of court. Patrolman Kenneth Hamill made the arrest.

-- Brian Lepore, 26, of Upper Montclair was arrested June 26 on Brielle Road and charged with unlawful taking of means of conveyance. Det. Adam Pharo made the arrest. 

-- Michael Palmieri, 22, of Bloomfield, was arrested June 29, on Third Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Patrolman Thomas Morton made the arrest. 

-- Thomas Kelly, 24, of Tappan, N.Y., was arrested June 30 on First Avenue and charged with contempt of court. Special Officer James Albanese made the arrest. 

-- Matthew Messenger, 27, of Jersey City, was arrested July 1 on First Avenue and charged with contempt of court. Special Offiver Roger Fernandez made the arrest. 

-- Scott Lotosky, 26, of Sparta, was arrested July 1 on Union Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct and defiant trespass. Patrolman Robert Wagner made the arrest.
