Manasquan Police Arrest Seven Over Weekend

All but one non-residents; charges include assault, DWI, disorderly conduct

Manasquan Police arrested seven individuals -- all but one from out of town -- over Memorial Day weekend. 

Between May 26 and May 28, borough police charged alleged offenders wth simple assault, resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and, in one case, making a false 9-1-1 call, according to a release from Manasquan Police. 

All of the out-of-towners were in their 20s and were arrested by the department's special officers.

The following is a list of those arrested and charged by borough police over the holiday weekend: 

--Charles Hoke, 27, of Birmingham, Ala., was arrested May 26 on First Avenue and charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing. Special Officer James Albanese made the arrest.

--Brendan McGuinness, 27, of West Caldwell, was arrested May 26 on Second Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated. Special Officer Jesse Waterson made the arrest.

--Nicole Duff, 25, of Hoboken, was arrested May 27 on First Avenue and charged with obstructing. Special Officer Roger Fernandez made the arrest. 

--Brian Gray, 20, of West Caldwel, was arrested May 27 on the beachfront and charged with hindering. Special Officer Michael Terracciano made the arrest.

--Andreas Nicolaou, 28, of Sayreville, was arrested May 27 on Second Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing and resisting arrest. Special Officer Nicholas Austin made the arrest. 

--Russell Gillen, 48, of Main Street, was arrested May 28 on Main Street and charged with disorderly conduct and making a false 9-1-1 call. Patrolman Robert Wagner made the arrest. 

--Andrew Francis, 23, of Staten Island, was arrested May 28 on Second Avenue and charged with hindering. Special Officer James Albanese made the arrest.
