Manasquan Man Indicted on Weapons Charges

Arrested in Wall last year and charged with unlawful handgun possession

A Manasquan man was indicted by a Superior Court grand jury this week for unlawful weapons possession, records show. 

Timothy Yard, 22, of Jefferson Avenue, was arrested Dec. 13 in Wall and charged with illegally possessing a handgun, the indictment says. 

Yard, the indictment says, knowingly had the weapon without a permit.

Yard faces just one count of third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. 

The indictment was signed by County Prosecutor Peter E. Warshaw Jr.
