UPDATE: Manasquan Man Who Allegedly Sought Free XBOX At Christmas Faces Jail

Maybe he couldn't find an XBOX that was for sale at Monmouth Mall.

Or maybe he couldn't find one he liked, so he chose to grab the one sitting in a Broad Street apartment instead.

Either way, a 22-year-old Manasquan man has been accused of going to strange and extraordinary limits to play black-ops on a favorite game system.

Steven Yard has been accused of burglarizing an apartment on Broad Street, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Yard, of Second Avenue in Manasquan, allegedly entered the 26 Broad Street apartment and attempted to steal an XBOX gaming system.

Yard has been lodged in Monmouth County Jail on $15,000 bail, the prosecutor's office said.
