Manasquan Man Arrested on Heroin Charges

Brian D. Molyvade, 29, arrested in Wall Township with nearly 100 bags of heroin

A Manasquan resident over the weekend was arrested in Wall on a charge of heroin possession, records show. 

Brian D. Molyvade, 29, of Holly Boulevard, on Saturday was charged by police with possession of nearly 100 small plastic bags of heroin, according to the criminal complaint. 

Molyvade faces third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the complaint says.

Police found 98 "decks," or small gram-sized plastic bags, of heroin inside Molyvade's jacket pocket, located in the back seat of his car, the complaint says. 

It is unclear why he was stopped.

Molyvade is due to appear in Wall Municipal Court at Nov. 6 at 1 p.m., the complaint says.
