Man, 20, Allegedly Stole Bikes, Kayaks, Computers From Belmar, Other Towns

A 20-year-old Asbury Park man was indicted on burglary and theft charges after stealing bikes, kayaks and computer equipment last summer in Belmar and other towns, according Monmouth County court records.

Estefan Magana also was accused of using a juvenile to help commit these crimes, according to court records.

Magana was also accused of burglarizing homes in Ocean Township and stealing a Cannondale bike worth more than $500, among other items. He also buglaized homes in Interlaken and Deal on July 8 and stole another bicycle.

Between Aug. 9 and 19, Magana allegedly burglarized a home in Belmar and stole a kayak and paddles valued more than $500. He also stole a laptop computer and iPod nano from a home in Belmar on Aug. 10, according to court records.

On Aug. 19, he allegedly stole a kayak and a bicycle from a home in Belmar on and stole a laptop from Belmar on Sept. 11, according to court records.
