Indictment on Threats, Child Endangerment Charges Handed Up in Wall Incident

A Point Pleasant Beach man has been indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury for endangering the welfare of a child and making terroristic threats earlier this year, according to court documents.

Leonard Saris, 59, of Trenton Avenue, has been charged in connection with an April 10 incident during which he allegedly threatened bodily harm against a person identified as "C.C."

The incident occurred in either Wall Township or Spring Lake Heights, the documents said.

Saris is also facing an additional charge of endangering the welfare of a child, the care of whom he had a legal responsibility, according to the indictment.

The indictment has handed up Aug. 2, documents showed.
