Heroin Arrest On LBI: Driver Had Dope, Syringes, Police Say

ANOTHER arrest in the area

A 23-year-old man was arrested on Long Beach Island this week for having heroin and hypodermc syringes, police said.

Timothy Spinner, 23 of West Creek was found Wednesday to possess heroin and hypodermic syringes while driving in Harvey Cedars, police said.

At approximately 1 p.m., police stopped a vehicle in the area of 75th Street and Long Beach Boulevard for an MV equipment violation. Further investigation by the officer found that the driver had the drugs and paraphernalia, police said.

Spinner was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, processed, and was released pending a future court date. Patrolman Anthony Abbatemarco was the arresting officer and assisted by Stafford Township Police K-9 Officer Chris Smith.
