During that incident McFadden was charged with forgery and receiving Stolen Property by the Lakewood Township Police and subsequently transported to the Ocean County Jail.  After further investigation, it was determined that 11 additional checks were taken from the victim and ultimately cashed.

On Jan. 24, McFadden received a criminal summons at the Ocean County Jail where she was still lodged on the original charge signed by the Lakewood Township Police.

The investigation is continuing and anyone who believes that they may have information is asked to contact Detective Bevacqua at 732-262-4612.
